  • DESCRIPTION:
    PREMABOND 42 is a one component adhesive based on Synthetic Rubber with special tackyfier and additives. It is specially developed for being compatible with most of the substrates. It is very good in film forming nature which gives uniform bonding to many surfaces.

  • RECOMMENDED USE:
    Suitable for bonding of EPDM Rubber Sheets, EPDM Waterproofing Membrane, Neoprene Sheets, leather, shoe material, composite panels, wood & aluminum items, boards, leather, steel, plastic rubber sheets, carpet flooring and other items as well.

  • SURFACE PROTECTION:
    The surface should be structurally sound, clean, dry, leveled and free from dust, curing compounds, grease and other loose debris.
  • APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
    Apply PREMABOND 42 evenly with brush, roller, spray gun or pressure feeding equipment evenly on both surfaces, wait until solvent is fully evaporated. After the evaporation of solvent in adhesive, assemble the surface by applying normal hand pressure. Special care must be taken on the edges and adhesive must be evenly applied.
  • PACKAGING:
    I Ltr. Can, 5 Ltrs. Can, 15 Ltrs Drum and 200 Ltr Drums.
  • STORAGE:
    Store product (10oC - 40oC) for maximum storage life. Higher temperatures reduces normal storage life. Lower temperatures may cause increased viscosity of a temporary nature. Rotate stock on a “first in-first out” basis.
  • CLEANING TOOLS:
    Clean immediately after use with water or white spirit if the material has dried.
  • SURFACE:
    Immediately remove any adhesive from the surface of the floor covering with a damp cloth.

SECTION II - HAZARDOUS INGREDIENTS & HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

Unlisted ingredients are not hazardous as per the Occupational Safety and Health Administration Hazard Communication Standard.

Inhalation of vapors may cause loss of feeling and weakness in the hands and feet and loss of manual dexterity. Inhalation of high concentrations may result in central nervous system effects such as dizziness, weakness, fatigue, nausea, headache, and lack of coordination.



SECTION III – FIRST AID MEASURES

  • IF In Eyes :
    Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 20 minutes retracting eyelids often.
    Tilt the head to prevent chemical from transferring to the uncontaminated eye. Get immediate medical attention and monitor the eye daily as advised by your physician.
  • IF on skin :
    Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and launder. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
  • IF Vapors Inhaled:
    Move to fresh air. Restore breathing. If necessary call a physician if symptoms persist.
  • IF Swallowed::
    Do not induce vomiting and seek medical attention immediately. Drink two glasses of water or milk to dilute. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Induce vomiting as a last measure. Induced vomiting may lead to aspiration of the material into the lungs potentially causing chemical pneumonitis that may be total.

SECTION IX – HANDLING & STORAGE

Mildly irritating material. Avoid unnecessary exposure.
Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep container closed.

Drums of this material should be grounded while pouring.
Do not cut or weld on or near this container.
This products contains an ingredient that may release formaldehyde at heated cure temperatures.
